Have you been following the World Cup? If so, you know how exciting it's been. If not, you should check it out. The final, championship game is this Sunday, pitting France and Croatia.
So, what does the World Cup have to do with Better Display Cases?
Well, we received an email from one of our customers (Farah Ahmad) telling us about her recent Soccer Ball Display Case purchase that inspired us to write this blog.
You can see Farah pictured below. Next to her is David Villa. For those who may not know, David Villa Sanchez is a Spanish footballer for Spain's national team and captain of New York City's Major League Soccer club. He played in the 2010 World Cup where he led his team to a championship victory and also earned himself the Silver Boot for his outstanding play. He is the first Spanish player to ever reach 50 international goals which is quite the milestone.
This meet & greet was made possible through McDonald's new promotion giving fans the chance to meet their league icons while also receiving a great meal to start their day. Upon meeting her soccer hero, she was also gifted the opportunity to "kick" it with him as they sat and watched the live game in progress with the football phenom as her special house guest.
Before leaving, David Villa signed Farah's game ball which turned it into quite an awesome piece of sports memorabilia. We are honored that Farah chose to display this ball in a display case she purchased from us.
Our Soccer Ball Display Case with Green Turf Floor and Mirror is a simple case with a unique turf base that sort of brings the feel and intensity of game action to the display. We hope our case gives Farah's wonderful piece of memorabilia the pedestal it deserves to be appreciated for years to come.
Enjoy the final games of the World Cup everyone and thank you Farah for sharing such an amazing moment with your friends at Better Display Cases!
